A temporary fix to the spotty black plactic bits is to give it a good old rub with a cloth soaked in WD40. It comes up a treat but you'll have to re-do it after you wash the bike.

I may have seen you a few weeks ago heading south on the M3 near Winchester in the company of another S (blue?). I was in the cage with herself and the squids and was very envious.

I've just spoken to Motorworks and been quoted £44.74 for the following parts:-
2 x FUA 59119 Connector
2 x FUA 59120 sleeve
4 x FUA 76918 clamps

Julian bought the same parts from them for around £26 in March!

Being a tight wad and not wanting to spend so much on these connectors, does anyone ...

Oxford heated grips are approx. £30. OK but not very hot.

I had to remove the ridges on the throttle with a stanley knife.
