Problem solved!

Well... pretty embarrassing. Got the two fuel lines from the fuel pump unit mixed up, and that was what's wrong... Maybe I should stop doing things myself.

Yes. Everything is normal except for the higher pitch sound, and the fact that the motor don't start.

Fuel pump problem after fuel filter change...

Hi all. A couple of days ago I wanted to change my fuel filter on my R1100S. Read a little bit about it online, and thought "how hard can it be". After I got all the fairing parts off, drained the tank, I thought... This is pretty easy. Double Jinx... When trying to get the fuel pump and f...

Cheap Tyresites?

Hey.

I am looking for a webshop which carries Michelin Pilot Sport 2 front tyres for my R1100S. The cheepest webshop I have found here in Denmark, sells for around £90.

Is this a fair price, or can anyone recommend another webshop (which offers shipment to Denmark).

Kind regards

Rear Carbon Indicators?

Hi there. When I bought my bike it was fitted with poor quality "Carbon Look" rear indicators. They are only half the size of the original R1100S rear indicators, which is a plus, but the carbon look is really tacky. Does anyone know any good online dealers which can provide me with real c...

New Tyre! Pilot Road II

I just changed my rear tyre. When I bought the bike it was fitted with a Pilot Sport, and after reading a lot about the Pilot Road II, I decided that this was going to be my new tyre. So after fitting it on my 5,5" rear wheel, I took it for a spin, and oh my god a difference. The old tyre was r...

Ok, Thanks Throttlemeister. I will keep that in mind the next time I buy oil, and then change the oil filter as well.

I drive in temperatures down to 6-7 degrees celsius but never below that, and never in the winter months. So Maybe I will go with 10W50? Or what?

I have now had my bike for approx. 3 months, and I have spend around 5000 km in the saddle until now on long trips travelling between home and workplace. I love this bike. It has enough power to move, but still it cruises like a dream which I like when driving 350 km straight. I have changed Oil onc...

I couldn't help noticing that you wrote further and further? When I use my clutch I always press it all the way to the handlebar. Likewise when I am driving a car, I also put the clutch pedal all the way down. Am I just a Rookie? I know that the last 1-2 cm has no effect what-so-ever, but just to be...

Once again I have to thank you for not giving me an overhaul for reposting, but being a foreigner, it can be difficult to search for the right things in the forum.

Thanks!

Gasoline not good for the fairing?

Well.. it isn't really a question, as I know Gas is kinda corrosive. But the "gasoline gun" tricked me today, and some gasoline splashed on the fairing, the handlebar and the housing for turn signals. It was only some drops, but still it left some ugly stains on the housing for the turn si...

I actually did... but it is the registration that they charge you for, so there is nothing to do.

For example. Brand new K1200S - 27.500 pounds. without accessories :D
