Hi Andy,

That is great news - keep the faith!

I even enjoyed the ride home on the 12 in the rain as it was really good for riding smoothly whilst still "making progress" (only a couple of slides :oops: ). Tempted to do some more of this touring lark.

Sorry Roloo but you don't fool us! I think you found a dusty corner on the bike you couldn't get to and couldn't resist taking the bike apart :lol: ! Like Stevie the bulb swap was a bit fiddly but not a problem.

Thanks Boxerdog! Did the battery thing and it worked :D but still got Lampf message :? let alarm reset and then unset a couple of times and turned ignition on/off a couple of times and then message went away and works ok now. Confused but visable! Dave (but have made up jury rig cable just in case.....

In the dark!

Help (only two days to Wales trip :shock: ) Had dipped beam bulb fail (Lampf! message) on my 1200S. Replaced bulb but it just flashes when ignition turned on and then goes out. Have swapped full beam bulb and does the same thing. Full beam all ok. Any suggestions gratefully received. Also my backup ...

Hi,

Have seen all the horror postings over shearing the bolts getting the current ones off :shock: but assuming I get that far does anyone have some info please on how hard to tighten them up again?
