There seems to be a number of items which are every two years or 40K KM - so that might suggest a 24K mile service would be more expensive e.g. Brake fluid, gearbox oil, bevel box oil Oh I also got all my bits greased too - side stand & foot pegs and the lights checked where they noticved my hom...

Hi, I don't think that every who rides a motorcycle is a biker any more than I believe that everyone who owns a car is a petrol-head. What I try to differentiate against is the wider public perception of what the label biker means. If asked 'am I a biker' by someone who doesn't use motorcycles I tel...

Hi, It's an efficient form of transport for me. I only use my bike for work, gets me there on time, mostly without having to pay any toll/parking fees regardless of what the unwashed masses in their cages are up to. So I don't consider myself a biker - I use a motorcycle because it gives me an advan...

Hi, The East Kilbride dealership is 75 an hour (probably plus VAT) but as the R12S is over 6 years old I get a 30% discount on labour and 10% on parts. I'll get a fixed charge on the service as well so long as all the parts come off with out needing drilled out. They are booking about a week ahead, ...

Hi Lanark would be too far but thanks for posting. I had spotted the new BMW place in East Kilbride, but if it only opened in march and they were a car dealership before I would be a bit worried they were all re-assurance and not much experience. I will check to see how much they cost. How much trai...

> How much did you have to pay ?

I just logged into the website and payed for the 3 trips.

I've ignored everything else as the UK debt collection agency has no jurisdiction/powers to enforce.

Hi, Is that because they are forward facing and they missed a trick? Or do the cameras face to the rear and they made a consession? Adrian PS Yes I was in a car and I didn't think the automated toll was applicable to visitors until UK debt agency started sending letters. I paid the toll company for ...

Not worried about PNC access so long as it is for criminal justice, but I am slightly upset over the DVLA selling your details to a UK debt collection agency who then try to recover fines from a foreign jurisdiction.

e.g. The M50 automated toll in Ireland

Hi, You can get 'City' lids for the panniers. They are pretty much flat rather than the round doors used as standard. You can try this comapny mentioned in this post: http://www.boxertrix.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=14616&sid=b154a9550040341292f9ff675c752d82 I got mine from the dealer at the time...

Hi,

Yes £90ish inc VAT for the part.

I mentioned that it might just need torqued up, the garage was sure the ball joint (#12) had play in it right up to the point where the took the cap (#14) of the joint and noticed the nut (#13) was loose.

Good call.

Thanks

Adrian
