Yeh, thanks for that I got some to put on as well next time the plastic is off.
The guy in the workshop suggested fitting them opposite ways round so you can mix up the flow and return when reconnecting.

Tim,
Like madman mine has the '-' connector just where he says. Maybe its just the silver ones that have both a '+' and '-' connector.

I polished up my pannier lids with black dubbin, brought them up a treat.

Twas indeed the input shaft seal.
Nice man at BVM in Stroud did it under warranty while I waited.
Fitter said it was only leaking a touch and would have been OK for another 50K miles.
yeh right when the warranty was long gone and then they would have charged me 3 hours labour.

Have to ask why bother? Before I fitted my mid pipe i used two grind stones just aroung the joints then thought about the other joints i could not get at where the pipes join and around the sensor hole and gave up. Could easily have used at least another two stones to get a nice smooth flat surface ...

Where from and how much if you don't mind me asking?

Was thinking of getting a bike lift but can't really justify a table type so was looking at one of those roll under type.

Big G.
There was a post over on Pelican about just this the other day.

I find that if I release the clutch just slightly with weight on the gear lever it drops in very sweetly.

This would seem to underwrite the technical explanation from the usa.

Ian,
No doubt you have discovered its the tail light that gone.
At least it was that that caused me warning light to come on.
Too clever by half these Germans reduce the wattage of the stoplight to make it glow like a tail light when the tail light filament blows.
