Happy non-denominational winter holiday to all you northerners. I hope the non-specific holiday figure brings you all the goodies you wished for.
We of the Antipodean persuasion will be having a hot Christmas.
Cheers all.
ps - Harry, nice work.

We had a look at the Guzzi offerings last weekend at the Sydney show. Nikk was impressed with the first Griso images, just as she was seeing it in the flesh, but not so with the weight and it's distribution - too top heavy in her opinion. Still it is an impressive looking machine, exhaust notwithsta...
Julian, I use my Dremel cordless jobbie (the older 7.2 Ni-Cad) for close in work on jobs at the bench but the corded variety for anything else needing a bit more oomph. The downside of these tools is the replacement bits and pieces are a sting, as Nigel has already pointed out, hence what appears to...

As an alternative, have a look at Anderson's Stands site here in Oz. They ship o/s but I reckon they could do with a dealer/distributor in Europe. A mate who's a local suspension guru uses them exclusively and can't say enough about them. It's very good gear though a little pricier than some. BTW, t...

The best sounding (by far - trust me on this) is the HPE and unlike all the others looks the way that the bike should look. sandbar Nigel, will they be offering the HPE with single can/twin outlet like their Duc 749/999 full systems? It looks a metal version of the Akra. Look forward to seeing pics...

Went out for a wee play yesterday.... K1200S v R1200S
Hi all, Not wanting to upset the site, but the weather has been perfect for riding these last few day around Sydney. So I took the opportunity to wander up the 'Old Road' from Sydney's northern suburbs to Gosford via the Pacific Highway to hit the new-ish BMW dealer (typical corporate jobbie with ca...

Re: Know how you feel
Paul, just caught onto this topic whilst catching up. Glad to hear it wasn't as damaging personally but sad to hear of the bike getting banged up. As Pete asked, any word on the bikes outcome (and future motorvelocipeding adventures)? PS - I wonder if it will cure your snoring.....! :sleepy1:  ...

G'day kiddies! Yes, I finally got my act together after several PC problems and after several attempts managed to remember my password to this illustrious site. How the heck are you all? :) Everything is going well down under but I have to admit to missing Blighty and not being too settled. You know...

I'm very happy with the feel and grip of the Pilot Power. Subject to wear rates I'll probably throttle back to a Pilot Sport/Road for wintertime. First time I've used Michelin. Julian, there has been talk in the past about Pilot Sports not being quick to warm there in the UK. Something to do with t...

Who needs pillion equipment on their motovelocipede?
G'day peeps from Doon Under! Back in the land of the living after finally getting the communications BS sorted. Everything arrived in good order and after a fair bit of bollox on behalf of the freight company we have the bikes. All that awaits is awaiting the Personal Import Plates to arrive, and th...

Grom, I have Diablos on the S and not had any scarey moments with them as yet. The first real outing on them was last year's Yorkshire Dales run within weeks of getting it. Tyre pressures were 36F/42R running a 180 on a 5" rim on't back. As an aside (and not wanting to hijack the topic), I run Miche...
