Re: an impending knock of doom?

Recently noticed when waiting at the lights that every now and then the engine seems to "bump" as if its missed a beat or been hit with a hammer, I can't think how else to describe it Its rather disconcerting. It seems smooth and untroubled whilst on the move. It was serviced 1k miles ago...

Re: sudden cut out

Only had my bike 3 weeks , love it, only problem, it stalls/cuts out every now and again at low revs. Seems to be soon after start up on a warm or cold motor, as if youve dropped the choke off too soon. today I did 7 miles on the motorway, then at a junction it cut out. Its an 03 twin spark, servic...

I'm assuming that your valve clearances, cables, sync are all up to snuff. I am usually getting 40-42 commuting in traffic but sometimes a little worse when getting "enthusiastic" with the right hand. Touring 2 up usually about 44-47 as I can't go errrrr too slow but up at altitude (Wyo, C...

I'm using the Cee Bailey standard "Touring" windshield and had no problems with fitment (mounting holes). The bit of extra height and width is certainly welcome in rain and bad weather though the passenger apparently gets a bit more air. I guess the "envelope" closes a little ear...

Thanks, It's a start :D

Travel UK advice needed

Folks I'm a S rider (MC Instructor-trainer) from Louisiana planning a riding trip to the UK during the last 2 weekend of June. Probably fly to London or Bristol w/ another riding friend (he has a Boxer in London area in storage) and hopefully get to ride through London area, N. Wales, to Scotland to...

I'm using a Sargant's, I couldn't take the stocker any longer. It's not perfect but it is a vast improvement.

The stock one was taking it's toll on the nads.

Ordered it from

Ususlly beating around in traffic my light comes on at about 130-135.

On a trip to Colorado 2 up in the mountains (at altitude) I had it come on at about 180 and went 208 before pulling in for fuel.

Halloween

An old couple who hadn't celebrated Halloween in a long time decided to dress up and go out. The old woman went into her bedroom, stripped naked and tied a lemon between her legs. When she came out, the old man cried, "You can't go out like that!" She said, "I can go anyway I like and...
