BMW R1200S
Hi, Looking at selling my R12 as shown below. I brought this bike in Feb 2019 from a guy who had it from new and then stored it from 2011 - 2019 which is why it only has 9700miles from new. The bike is immaculate apart a bit of corrosion showing on the front engine cover, if the bike does not sell i...

Re: R1200s Front Engine Cover
Thanks Guys,
Two good options to consider.
I was told by an independent service centre that you can’t get the black front engine covers anymore only the silver coloured ones, however I’m not sure if that was true or perhaps they couldn’t source one in time.
I will make some enquiries.

R1200s Front Engine Cover
Hi All, I have an otherwise immaculate R1200s but there is some minor corrosion on the black front engine cover. As the bike is in mint condition I would like to get this sorted, does anyone know where I could source a brand new one? Alternatively would anyone recommend having it powder coated, just...

Bar Risers
Hi All, I’ve had my R12S 6 months now and as much as I love the bike I think my first modification is going to be bar risers! The old bones are not as supple as they used to be [smilie=crawl homer.gif] Anyone recommend any types of bar risers or is it just Helibars? What’s your thoughts on them if y...

Re: Fuel Grade
Hi, Funny you mentioned my tyres in the last post, they are BT023 which were put on by the seller just before I broiught it 6 weeks ago, anyway whilst in Wales over the Easter weekend I had a moment in a corner where the front slid which caused me to stand the bike up, fortunately all was ok but cou...

Re: Fuel Grade
Hi All, Many thanks for all your replies, just good to get feedback rather than just what I read in the manual. Only 24hours to go until delivery, I think I know what I will be doing all day Saturday :D Brought a one owner R1200S in red & silver with low mileage, it does look good, hope it rides...

Fuel Grade
Hi, I’m a complete newbie here with a 2007 R1200S being delivered on Friday, I’ve taken a leap of faith in the forums and hope the bike lives up to all the positive feedback. I have a very simple question to throw out there, which fuel grade do you use for this bike? I only ask as I downloaded a rid...
