If you are finding the front end a bit vague try a bit more preload in the rear shock. You will get a bit more feedback from the front and it will turn slightly quicker. Good luck.

It's obviously faster than you think it is, whether or not youi will put enough miles on it in order to ride it properly is another thing. Stick with it for another twenty thou and you will be able to judge it properly.

With regards to cleaning, if you leave crap all over it over a period of time it builds up and the bike will rot. I have seen some really tatty ones even in BMW dealers. You are right to consider a black one, they look really classy. You can always upgrade the shocks for E=MC Endurance for about £550. I've had my black one for four years now and I still think it looks tasty.
