a K1200R Sport. Tunnel and then a chunk of autoroute to reims then been given a nice route down to Montreux for my first night. looks like I'll be nearish the day after you head off to Germany. Will be riding this route from Mendrisio up to Basel with an overnight in Luzerne http://www.myswitzerland...

crossing early 17th, night in Montreux
then down to Mendrisio 18th
up to Lucerne 19th then Basel, back down to Lausanne 20th and home on 21st
will you still be there?

anyone know much about Swiss roads and routes

in a couple of weeks heading to Switzerland. Need to get from Montreux to Mendrisio down near Como. Just wondered if anyone has suggestions of a good route.

It may well work for the cannister but the power socket plugs directly into it. Saves hard wiring into the battery and is also then on a fused circuit.

It was a long time ago that I did it but I thought the HID just connected up to the wires that go into the headlamp unit and you don't need to go near the battery, I know I didn't take the fairing off and used industrial velcro and cable ties to hold the ballast on to something!

its part of the charm. I have really taken to my k1200R sport. The ride is very fluid and quite nippy when you want or need it to be. Greatest mod was chaging rear 190/50 to 190/55.
