I've doe a fair bit of googling on the auction & cannot find the mileage for the bike in question, although the pre-auction estimate was 9-11,000 Euros. The bike effectively doubled the top expected bid. Admittedly, the Duemila Ruote auction results on whole were quite frothy.

Thank you. They are amazing bikes, I'm happy to be their caretaker. Never imagined I'd get my mits on an HP2, but it just sort of came to me. A confluence of good fortune and timing that was irresistible. Even the Missus understood I had to move on it when the opportunity came about.
