i took out the pads ad gave them a flat surface on a small belt grinder. after the testride, everything ok, so it was confirmed (at least in my case) that the pads are at fault. i draw some lines on the pads before the beltgrinder (stange but the pads seems to suck the permanent marker so the lines ...

as advised by one of our mechanics, i'll try and make a flat surface on the pads with some sandpaper. i'll report back if it helps any bit. our suspicion is that the metal inside the pads, combined with not so great compound is at fault. HELMET ENVY... absolutely! nothing else to worry about. word.
