I returned the Dainese to BikeStop in Stevenage and they were quick to resolve the situation and I got a full refund.

I find my size 11's foul the pillion footrest brackets as I prefer to tuck my feet in with the ball of the foot on the footrest.

BCR de clutter

Decided to de clutter my BCR so removed the pannier rails and the pillion footrests. Er indoors doesn't like going on the back. It looks quite slim in a strange sort of way.
