Finally got a chance to check it and there is a minute bit of play only just felt when you grab the wheel top and bottom, nothing if you grab at the sides (3 o'clock and 9 o'clock)
So if this is tightening the bearing, what and where am I tightening? Never fiddled with a shaft drive bike before!!

Rear wheel bearing R1100S
anyone give me a little info on this, had an advisory on the MOT that there is a little play in the rear wheel bearing, now it seems that there isn't a bearing in the wheel in the traditional sense?? Haven't had a look at it yet but just trying to get a feel for whats involved in advance.
Thanks

R1100s with a cough?
My r1100s has an annoying little cough, when your on the overrun it tends to pop a little very now and again, this is highly annoying in slow speed corners as it tends to push the bike on a little, as though its giving a little squirt of fuel in??
Any suggestions?

Carrying "stuff" on a R1100S
What do you guys use for general carrying on a R1100S, I was surprised to find theres no storage even for a lock or waterproofs etc (should have realised with an underseat zorst! doh) Don't really want panniers or top box so does anyone use a tank bag, tail pack or any other clever suggestions?? Horn doesn't work so I'm assuming the fuse but how the hell do you get into the fuse box? I can undo the lid but no way will it lift enough to remove the fuse, is it a fairing off ob to rectify? Also they don't look like normal fuses in there, do I need special fuses? Nooby questions I know - sorry :)

R1100S - no clock
On my newly purchased R1100s of the finest 98 vintage, the clock doesn't work. Now considering my last bike had no clock and to be honest the entire clock pod only worked when it felt like it and it never bothered me (it was a trail bike though) I find having a clock fitted but inoperative slightly ...
