I don't think it would have frozen over Christmas, it wasn't cold enough. The bike isn't in a garage though, I keep it under a cover (forgive me, but I live in a flat ) . It probably was a cheapy battery as a dealer replaced it for me after I bought the bike because the old one had crapped ou...

battery issues
I had a new battery for the 12S last summer, but it's already failing to hold it's charge, haven't checked for a short yet, but do you reckon leaving it for two weeks over Christmas (with the alarm activated) might have killed it. At the moment it won't hold it for a couple of days even.

There you go, UK arrival of "technical campaign". Interestingly, only 07 R1200S mentioned, but I assume it will apply to each year?

Rico , I also have a damaged back . But I've found some great stuff on internet , to improve core strength . Basically strengthen all the core muscles so much that the muscle strength assists in compensating for damaged back . There were some interesting videos put out by KTM , Dakar preparation , ...

I suffer from a condition that causes immense pain in the lower back and hips that often affects the way I walk. The best way to control it is with a diet and regular exercise. Since I was diagnosed last year I started and has managed to loose over a stone in fat, at the same time my back felt bett...

back protectors
Some may have seen that I have been thinking of selling my R12S because of my back pain problems, often making it difficult to enjoy a ride. I'll take the recommendations and try upgrading the suspension when I've got some spare cash, but I was wondering if any others with discomfort or pain in the ...

Rico; The 12S never came stock with the right side plug. I have the Hornig ones on mine, they compliment the bike nicely. Cheers Yes I searched through the parts list on the motorrad site, then went into the dealer and told me it doesn't have them. It was a colleague of mine who told me they were m...

R1200S parts
There's a small cover missing on my bike that should cover the heads of three bolts sticking out at a joint in the frame next to the right foot peg. I was wondering where you all source your parts, because it seems a little difficult to get such random parts for this bike on the internet. Do you thi...
