I just had my seat re-upholstered by a fellow who came with recommendations from riders.
OMG - total disaster.

He had no idea on how to handle the double curvature of the curved low-high rise, so he covered the whole seat with 1/2" foam and then stretched the upholstery tight over ...

All going very well until the last step - ie pumping fluid from the rear brake reservoir and out bleed nipple 6 on the ABS block.

Is when Tokico calipers were fitted.
Pad Dimensions are 81.5mm x 45mm x 9mm.
OEM manufacturer pn: Toyo C93F HH.

Earlier Brembo pads are 78mm x 52mm x 8.5mm.

Quite an obvious difference in physical appearance ...

What began as a simple front pad change has turned into a major theatrical drama production. Well - sort of.

I recently purchased a set of pads - ostensibly for an R11S with ABS.

Remove existing (worn) pads - OA thickness 8.4mm, only to find the OA thickness of the new pads is ...

When I were lad you removed the petrol tank by removing seat, undoing 1 bolt and pulling off 1 or 2 fuel pipes.

Ducking hell, this bloody bike, you need remove fairing(both sides), remove air intake tube thingywotsit, then faced with what seems like 50 million differnt pipes coming off the tank ...

Wasn't the air filter modified as well, remember several threads on here and Pelican, "val singleton" mod if I remember correctly, I ran a K&N with mine.

Nope. I use the stock air filter with my InDuct.
Various US places try to flog monster filter arrangements with all sorts of snake-oil ...

Some places are selling only the back half of what they claim to be a "Lennies InDuct". Is a knock-off copy (after Lennie did all the work). Grrrr.
You'll need the front half for full benefit. The aerodynamics of the nose of the original snorkel look less than inspiring, IMHO.

Had the same problem in my "S".

Disappeared when I fitted longer GS intake tubes. ($35 from wrecker).

I have Lennies InDuct and stock everything else.

As well, I gained A LOT of bottom - mid-range torque, with more low rpm flexibility.
No loss of top end, with a broader power spread.
15-20 ...

This is all just to complicated! Surely there must be a way of making it easier to post photos on here??? I have lots of photos I'd love to post on here, but it's just a nightmare to get it sorted. Please make it simple, for idiots like me!
