Thanks Pete checked them again i think i didnt have the off side on compression stroke, all is well now.

Measure the filter you have and replace with the same size and order removal cup to match. Job done

Valve adjustment

Serviced the 1200rt this morning, valves seemed pretty tight so adjusted exhaust to .3 and inlet to .15 is this correct as it sounds more tappy now

Not sure if it needs rebuilding or not or if its electrical. pressing and holding the esa switch down dose'nt call up the menu so it stays on one rider.

Hi all after selling my RT some years back iv'e tried some different bikes GSX14,1600 WILDSTAR and 1250 Bandit. None were a patch on my old RT and now i have just brought another. Got to service it tomorrow and get some miles on her. Ian

Hi all I have an r1200rt 14000k 55 reg, Its been standing for a while, about 2 months and now has a problem, Its starts first go every time but you ride off it cuts out as if its been turn off but restarts goes again then does the same, I removed the plugs and they were all the correct colour, went ...
