I need to put a new front tyre on my 1200S before I sell it. For the life of me, I can't see how the front axle comes out. In the old days, there was a hole you could put a rod through and twist the axle loose, but not on this one and I can't shift mine.
With some sadness I'm putting my lovely R1200S up for sale. I've not found the time to enjoy it as much as I should have done over the 18 months I've owned it, riding for a ridiculous 1500 miles in that time. It's probably the tyres making the handling feel so different. I'd be pretty disappointed if my suspension was changed without me asking, or without me being informed afterwards. Can't imagine any professional tech doing that.
