It's on all the time. Manual says it's a generic warning- either if ABS or rear brake light are kaput. Rear brake light is working, so I'm guessing the ABS isn't. The bike felt fine to ride, and I don't care about ABS- do I need to worry? If it's still on, I will take it to the dealer for free fixin...

Can't say I would buy from Dobles after being offered peanuts for my bike. Although he did raise his offer to a grand after I said I'd not consider anything less than £1300 for it.

Thanks for the nice comments on my bike. Like I said it is a dream to ride.
I didn't know it was modified in any way, but it was described as having a sport-suspension package. Anyway nice to know...I even think I know what you're talking about now.

^^ Compared to the r850 GS (which is the same as the 1100 GS) it feels like riding a bicycle.

However the claimed weights are no different... 234kg for the GS and 229 kg for the S.

I guess I am used to riding big traillies with the weight high up.
