Cheers Timbox....I will be revisiting the bars later after I've been out for a blast. I've a good mind to just send the yoke protector back to Demon Tweekes and get one that doesn't need to go around the handlebars.

Evening lads Sorry if this sounds a bit basic but I'm a complete numpty when it comes to technical stuff but I received my Fibre-Lyte yoke protector today and am having trouble fitting it as I have higher bars that are fitted above the top yoke and therefore the protector will not just slot straight...

Many Thanks lads, at least that's given me food for thought. I was thinking of maybe a rack (I think they're about £60) and something like a large Givi Topbox (secondhand one of fleabay) maybe. I am getting a BMW tank bag with the bike from Stu so hopefully that would be enough space for 5 days gear...
