You have to have the files/folders in the root of whatever drive you have it on. So if you want to run it from a hard disk, make sure that in the root of the drive, you have a file/folder list something like: Directory of D:\ 08/08/2003 23:50 45 AUTORUN.INF 12/04/2005 11:14 468,504 BMW-Motorrad-CD.x...

I used these guys for a load of bits of my 50's BSA. The quality of work was v. good.
Despite the same surname, no connection (that I know of).

Take all the tension out of both throttle cables first. That way you will know that the throttle cables are not holding one of the butterflies open at idle (which would cause you to compensate through the bleed screws). There are separate butterfly stop screws that determine their rest position. (th...

Stick it through a laminator. Makes it waterproof and won't get all crumpled up in your pocket. Once laminated, cut off the surplus. I use a laminator pouch (sprung from the office stationary cupboard), the wife's steam iron and a teatowel as I don't own a laminator. I do it even to put inside a hol...

Well, I had an R1200S loan bike yesterday while my K1200R was in having a new clutch fitted under warranty. I was hugely disappointed. I've had an R1100S and an R1150R Rockster previously so know what to expect from a boxer twin. The engine never felt anything other than agricultural. I asked on ret...

I'm around tomorrow (Sunday) afternoon if you want any help. I'm in Surbiton, with fully equipped garage. I've got a series of quickclamps, spring clamps and the like that I use to keep 3 pistons in place while you work on the 4th. I've got industrial quantities of brake cleaner aerosol as well. My ...
